This nine day workshop happens one weekend a month in May, June, and July from 9:30–4:30. This herbal program is for individuals planning to work in women’s health care. We will learn how to make formulas, herbal preparations, counter-indications, and some tried and true formulas. Students will learn field botany and go on field trips. Each student will make her/his own herbal kit.

June 1     Botany - field trip

June 2     Herbs & Nutrition for Pregnancy

                approaches for common complaints

                and variations and complications of

                pregnancy

July 13    Labor, Delivery, & Postpartum

                Herbal and homeopathic approaches

July 14    Botany

July 15    Gynecology

                Treatments for vaginal yeast,

                trichomonas, chlamydia, cervicitis,

                hemophilus, beta strep, and herpes
