This in-depth training is designed for women wanting to assist mothers and their families in the postpartum period. Students will examine the role of the postpartum doula in this transitional period of a new family.

                   Lactation counseling

                   Newborn care

                   Infant & mother massage

                   Sibling care

                   Postpartum  herbal & homeopathic needs

                   Postpartum nutrition

                   Setting up a business

                   Community resources

                   Identifying emotional disorders

                   Appropriate referral

                   Care of the mother in the postpartum period

                    Family dynamics

Time:   Sat-9:30-5:30, Sun -9:30-4:30

Students are required to have a current CPR, complete readings, do a community project and pass all courses with a

C or better  to receive a certificate.
